Puente Alto

Located inland from the Chilean coast near the base of the Andes Mountains, Puente Alto is home to nearly half a million residents.  Located in the Maipu Valley, the region is well known for its world renown winemaking as well as an up and coming business center. Located just south of the capital city of Santiago, Puente Alto is not a big draw for tourists, however many wine lovers pass through the region each year. With great natural scenery, including the majestic Andes Mountains to the east, Puente Alto is a place of unique beauty and a top destination for those looking outside the beaten tourist trail.
