Bogota

Perched on a plateau in the Andes Mountains; Bogota is the largest city in Colombia and one of the largest cities in South America.  The sprawling capital city is a major industrial and financial stronghold on South America and is without question the center of the economy in Columbia. The city is rich in history and classic architecture and full of many museums and art galleries ready for exploration. The stigma of the dangerous 80’s and 90’s is fading away and the city is now a great place to come visit as one of the new frontiers for travelers in South America.
