French Guiana

French Guiana is a little pocket of France on the South American continent. Go from open waters to covered lands and hike through the jungles and rainforests of Trésor Nature Reserve or the Sentier Molokoï if you dare. The Îles de Salut or Salvation Islands make a fascinating day trip. Nature has reclaimed these former prison lands, giving a pleasant surface to the history it hides.
