Asuncion

The largest city and the capital of Paraguay is the city of Asuncion. The young and vibrant population here comes from various mestizo and European backgrounds and as one of the oldest cities on the continent; Asuncion has a rich history and many interesting tourist attractions. The city is the business and financial center of Paraguay and the trade of Agricultural products farmed throughout the region funnels through the city.  With fertile farmland, self sufficient energy production and a young, educated population, the city is well poised moving forward to regain its place as one of the top cities on the continent.
