Lima

Lima is the capitol city of Peru and is also the country’s biggest city. From the crowded beaches of La Punta where the locals flock to cool off in the summer months, to the gorgeous parks in Mira Flores overlooking the Pacific Ocean, there is much to see in Lima. The crowded city streets packed with mini buses and crazy taxi drivers give Lima a unique character not seen elsewhere. The skyline is ever-changing as Lima is undergoing a huge facelift. Travelers will usually prefer the Mira Flores district as it is said to be safer than other surrounding areas.
