Trujillo

Located on the Moche River near the Pacific Ocean Trujillo is a city with over 800,000 inhabitants. The city is rich in history, with many archeological sites and ruins that draw in tourists to get a glimpse of the ancient societies that once lived here. The city is a major agricultural player and an important port in northern Peru. With a rich history, beautiful nature and a low cost of living Trujillo continues to gain favor as a tourist destination. Many tourists also come to the nearby beaches to surf the big waves or just to take in some sun on the pacific coast.
