Montevideo the capital city of Uruguay is a bit overshadowed by the massive city of Buenos Aries Argentina, right across the Rio de la Plata. With amazing food highlighted by grilled meats served at many of the local Parrillas you can eat quite well here, and for cheap! In fact, this city has a low cost of living, a laid back vibe and a great accumulation of different cultures. Immigrants from Spain, Italy, France and even African nations settled here and this diversity has created a charming and interesting city with a rich history and gorgeous architecture.
