As the third largest city in Venezuela, Valencia is home to around 2.2 million residents. The city is rich in historical and cultural offerings making it one of the top destinations in Venezuela. The city is surrounded by the coastal mountain range and sits at an elevation of nearly 2,000 ft. Located near the northern coast, the city has been colonized since the 1500’s and much of the historical buildings are still standing well preserved today. With a warm Caribbean climate, the city is well positioned to continue to grow as a tourist destination.
