My family is flying BA (business class) from Seattle to Heathrow and Heathrow to Zürich, and return, in June. I know we can’t select seats until we check in online, 24 hours in advance (unless we choose to pay). My question is, do we check in for both flights at the same time, even tho’ that is more than 24 hours in advance for the second flight? They were all booked as part of the same itinerary, if that makes a difference.

eGuide Answers September 7, 2011Good Answer0Bad AnswerIf you are on a single ticket and connections are less than 24 hours apart you can normally check in on line. The biggest problem is when you connect from a main line carrier to a low cost airline as they do not have inter line agreements.
