There are several airports in Stockholm but assume you mean Arlanda which is 37km from the city.
Taxi is the direct way but very expensive so if you can claim for it then OK otherwise you will have to use public transport and that is very easy. This is Green country and reflected in the excellent public transport.
Train is the fastest and takes 20 minutes but expensive. The cheaper option is the bus and that took me 30 minutes but can take longer. The bus was excellent and you do get a view as you drive in.
Tickets are 99SEK and you buy from the information desk inside the terminal. The bus is outside and runs every 10 minutes so no need to wait long.
The problem is the transfer form the train station where the bus terminates. A taxis is expensive so best to walk or use a local bus, everyone speaks very good English so just ask, people are helpful in Sweden.
